Shana is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a true Florida native, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, followed by a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, a highly regarded physician assistant program, reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to excellence in healthcare.
Shana has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) since 2021 and is licensed to diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, and perform dermatologic procedures. She has completed extensive training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology and remains committed to advancing her clinical expertise through ongoing education.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, staying current with the latest advancements in dermatologic care.
Shana is passionate about treating both medical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions and takes pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for her patients. She values building trust, educating patients, and ensuring each individual feels heard, cared for, and confident in their treatment plan.
Outside of her professional work, Shana enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, and embracing everything Tampa has to offer, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers football games, walks around all the neighborhoods, exploring new restaurants, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
