Julie Yi, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Duke University and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, graduating among the top of her class with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. Additionally, Dr. Yi completed a year-long research and clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on complex skin diseases and the gut microbiome’s impact on skin health. She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Yi is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Florida West Coast Dermatology Society, and the Florida Academy of Dermatology. Her academic contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications, podium presentations, and an authored book chapter on epigenetics in dermatology.
In her practice, Dr. Yi is passionate about helping patients achieve their healthiest skin through individualized, evidence-based care. She believes in a collaborative approach, ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and empowered.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants around Tampa, and traveling with her husband and son.
