Kelley Mulfinger McIlvaine is a Physician Assistant in Dermatology. She grew up in Tampa and then attended the University of Virginia, graduating with a double major in Commerce and Art History. After college, she worked for two years as a Teach For America Corps Member in inner-city Atlanta. During the summer of 2008 she spent 3 months in Tanzania doing HIV/AIDS awareness work, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.
She was awarded a Dean’s Competitive Scholarship to attend the University of Texas Southwestern, where she graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies with highest honors. Kelley is a member of Alpha Eta Society, a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, a fellow of Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Junior League of Tampa and serves on the Alumni Board of the Academy of the Holy Names.
After spending nine years working in dermatology, Kelley is excited to work at PHDermatology. When she’s not practicing dermatology, Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband Andy, two kids Luke & Lucy, and her Goldendoodle Henry. She also enjoys running, biking, traveling and is yoga certified.
