Get to know Stephen Lockwood, MD, MPH, FAAD

Starting at Palm Harbor on May 1st and in South Tampa on June 1st.

Dr. Lockwood is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a Master’s in Public Health from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Lockwood spent one year as a Pathology resident at Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital, followed by a clinical trials research fellowship in the Department of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then completed a preliminary medicine year at the University of Florida, followed by a Dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Lockwood is excited to join PHDermatology at both its Palm Harbor and South Tampa locations. His professional interests include general, surgical, and complex medical dermatology (skin cancer screening, acne, rosacea, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other immune-mediated skin conditions).

Outside of work, Dr. Lockwood enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, kayaking, and the arts.
